Planning Your Tour
Common Questions and Information

The most important factor in the success of your tour is your own unconditional decision that you are going to Israel, and that you are going to take a group of your parishioners, ministry supporters, and other friends with you.  Once you have taken this step of faith yourself – the rest is easy.

Experience shows that it is best not to make your decision based on others agreeing to go with you.  For example, one pastor made his trip conditional on having seven other couples go with him.  But the commitment was so tentative that it discouraged potential travelers.  One member of this pastor’s congregation said, “My wife and I were planning to go, but the pastor said we had to have seven couples to go.”  No one wants to invest precious time and resources in a trip that may be canceled at the last minute.

However, once this pastor made a firm decision to go to Israel, he soon found himself hosting a tour of the Holy Land with 26 other people.  Your commitment to go is crucial!

How much work will I have to do while on the tour in Israel?
LeSEA Tours will handle all the logistic of the tour.  We will even have a representative accompany the tour to handle any questions that may come up.  Along with the expertise of LeSEA Tours come tour guides who are specially licensed by the Israeli government.  These are individuals who speak fluent English and who train extensively in culture, geography, history, travel and religion.  Their outstanding abilities add up to one very important benefit for you as a tour co-host. You are free to relax and enjoy the tour like everyone else!  You’ll have time to teach and minister to those in your group without having to coordinate details.
And if you have about 35 people in your group, you can have your own bus!

Is it really safe to travel in Israel?
LeSEA Tours would never take our groups somewhere that was not safe.  We work closely, before and during our tours, with the Ministry of Tourism, local security and guides to prepare a well-planned adventure with security in mind.  LeSEA Tours knows that in spite of media coverage, it is safe to travel in Israel.  We receive constant updates regarding any disturbances and simply won’t go to any location where there is the slightest possibility of problems.  After all, you’re not traveling alone.  We, and often our families, travel with you!
