November 17, 2010: Today you will awake in the beautiful Dead Sea area and enjoy this day at your leisure. Later in the day, join other tour members for the drive down to Eilat in southern Israel. Eilat is where Egypt, Jordan, and Israel all meet at the Red Sea. November 18, 2010: This day we offer the optional tour to Petra in the country of Jordan (approx. $200 per person). A rose-red city half as old as time, discover the ancient world of Petra. See the multicolored sandstone high mountains: secluded steep rocky slopes and craggy mountaintops which celebrated tombs, facades, theatres and stairways are carved. This experience is unforgettable. If you decide to stay in Eilat and choose to discover the treasures of the region, consider a glass bottom boat ride or the Coral Beach Nature Reserve where protected reef and myriad fish can be observed by all.
